About the role
Permanent full time opportunity to liaise with assist, advise and consult with the Clinical Directors, Nurse Unit Managers, Clinical Nurse Consultants, Manager of Administration Services and other medical and nursing staff and the broader Metro North HHS on the service delivery and patient activity as required to ensure objectives are achieved.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Manage recruitment and selection processes for administrative staff in conjunction with the Administration Workforce Coordinator and orientate new staff on human resource commencement policies and procedures.
- Prepare and update staff rosters and associated reports, monitoring and recording of leave balances and monitoring/ reporting staff absenteeism in line with current policies and procedures.
- Review work practices and develop procedural guidelines for the service area. Resolve day to day operational issues within the team by identifying, managing, and planning contingencies and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Work autonomously with the ability to cope in high pressure and demanding environments, with proven ability to coordinate, prioritise and complete multiple tasks of a complex nature within competing timeframes.
