About us:
Central Queensland Oral Health Services brings dental care closer to the communities of Central Queensland, supporting eligible clients through adult and school dental clinics and mobile dental vans. With services spanning Rockhampton, the Capricorn Coast, Gladstone, Emerald, Springsure, Blackwater, Moura, Biloela, Mount Morgan, Woorabinda and Capricornia Correctional Centre, the team plays an important role in improving oral health across the region. Alongside evidence-based care and health promotion, the service is committed to fair access for the community and creating a workplace where staff feel supported and valued.
About the role:
- Provide Oral Health Therapy/Dental Therapy within your scope of practice, primarily supporting children and adolescents through fixed and mobile clinics across schools and communities.
- Use advanced clinical skills to provide senior clinical leadership, guidance and support to less experienced clinicians, with potential to provide adult dental care depending on qualifications and service needs.
- Promote good oral health at an individual and community level while contributing to professional development, clinical research and knowledge sharing.
- Provide operational supervision, mentor students and staff, contribute to recruitment and performance, and help build a positive, collaborative team environment.
About you:
- Bachelor of Oral Health/Dental Therapy, current AHPRA registration and the required Radiation Use Licence.
- High-level Oral Health Therapy knowledge, skills and experience, with a commitment to maintaining and advancing clinical standards.
- Able to work autonomously while providing day-to-day operational leadership, supervision and support within a multidisciplinary team.
- Builds effective relationships across all levels, communicates confidently and provides clinical supervision, mentoring and positive role modelling to other oral health professionals.
- Actively embraces professional development, research and continuous learning, with the ability to lead change and drive quality and service improvements.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $157,359 p.a. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $64.64 - $69.55 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
