Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service is seeking a motivated and adaptable Registered Nurse – Rural Reliever to provide high-quality, patient-centred care across our rural facilities in Biggenden, Childers, Eidsvold and Mundubbera Multipurpose Health Services, Gayndah and Monto Health Services and Gin Gin Hospital. This role is ideal for a registered nurse who thrives on flexibility, enjoys variety, and is passionate about rural healthcare. No two days will be the same as you support facilities across the North Burnett and Isis regions.

Your opportunity: 

  • The Registered Nurse (RN) provides clinical and patient-centred care within the Rural Hospitals and Multipurpose Health Services of the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service (WBHHS), supporting the facilitation and provision of quality and cost effective nursing services which are consistent with contemporary standards and evidence-informed practice.

Our offer: 

You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $128,480 p.a., comprising salary between $87,790 - $112,607 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 5) (Permanent Full Time, 76 hours p.f.) The Wide Bay is a diverse and beautiful region in Queensland, Australia and is known for its wide-open spaces, subtropical temperatures, strong community spirit and relaxed, family-friendly lifestyle. In the countryside you will find friendly towns, scenic farming land, rugged mountain ranges and National Parks. The many lakes, rivers and dams provide the perfect waterside location for camping, hiking, swimming, fishing and water sports. The Wide Bay has hundreds of kilometres of back roads and tracks, perfect for horse riding, trailbikes and four-wheel driving.
