About Your Role
As Team Leader, you will play a key role in coordinating and supporting the Specialist Outpatients administrative team, ensuring patients and clinicians receive a responsive, efficient and high-quality service.
In this role, you will:
- Lead, supervise and support administrative staff to achieve service and KPI outcomes.
- Coordinate administrative rosters, workload allocation, training, onboarding and staff development.
- Provide high-level administrative support to clinicians and help maintain effective outpatient systems and processes.
- Identify and resolve operational issues while contributing to quality improvement and service redesign initiatives.
- Coordinate facility, maintenance and access requirements and act as a key contact for internal and external stakeholders.
About You
We are looking for an organised and proactive administrative leader who can confidently manage competing priorities, support a diverse team and adapt to the changing needs of a busy healthcare environment.
You will demonstrate:
- Proven experience supervising staff and supporting performance, development and KPI outcomes.
- Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with initiative to identify and implement improvements.
- High-level written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships.
- Knowledge and experience with outpatient administration, including appointment scheduling, waitlist management, referrals and relevant hospital information systems.
