About the role
The Associate Nurse Manager – Nursing Workforce works collaboratively with the Nurse Manager of Nursing Workforce to support the effective coordination of workforce resources and business operations across the Caboolture, Kilcoy and Woodford Directorate. The role plays a key part in workforce planning, rostering and resource management to ensure safe, efficient and sustainable healthcare service delivery.
The successful candidate will assist in managing workforce capacity, support workforce planning initiatives, monitor and report on operational performance, and contribute to quality improvement and change management activities. Working closely with nursing, patient flow and interprofessional teams, they will help optimise workforce outcomes while promoting a positive workplace culture and high standards of consumer-focused care.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Support workforce planning, rostering and resource management activities to ensure efficient and cost-effective service delivery.
- Work collaboratively with the Nurse Manager to monitor, maintain and strengthen workforce capacity across the Caboolture, Kilcoy and Woodford Directorate.
- Contribute to the management of human, financial and material resources while supporting compliance with relevant awards, agreements and workforce frameworks.
- Utilise workforce data, reporting and contemporary evidence to support operational planning, decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Foster a positive workplace culture through effective communication, collaboration and commitment to professional standards, patient safety and organisational goals.
