About the role

Casual opportunity to actively contribute to the quality improvement and values activities of Retail Services to maintain a culture of teamwork, high performance, respect, integrity and compassion within Retail Services.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Barista duties including the taking and processing of coffee orders whilst upholding quality and consistency, machine maintenance and cleanliness
  • Preparation and serving of food items for sale
  • Provide exceptionally high level of customer focused service at all service points and at all times throughout all internal Retail outlets
  • Use of Point of Sale System to take orders, appropriately capture sales, accept payment (cash and EFTPOS) and provide change and refunds (as required)
  • Ability to work in a busy environment, either as an individual or as part of a team, with an ability to prioritise tasks and manage time autonomously
  • Display product knowledge to assist customers with menu item descriptions and to make informed decisions about products by providing suggestions of accompaniments or suitable alternatives.
