Your new role:

As a Mental Health Clinician, you will provide high-quality mental health and discipline-specific clinical services within the Logan Youth SUSD Program, supporting young people throughout their recovery journey.

  • Provide clinical assessment, therapeutic intervention, education and discharge planning within an interprofessional team.
  • Manage an allocated caseload, applying evidence-based practice and sound clinical judgement to achieve positive consumer outcomes.
  • Build strong partnerships with young people, families, carers, health professionals and community stakeholders.
  • Contribute to clinical education, supervision, quality improvement and research activities that enhance youth mental health services.

About you:

We are looking for a passionate and collaborative clinician who is committed to delivering safe, compassionate and recovery-oriented care to young people.

  • Strong clinical assessment, therapeutic intervention and case management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with young people and their support networks.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and contribute to positive consumer outcomes.
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice, professional development, quality improvement and continuous learning.

This opportunity is open to Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers and Speech Pathologists who meet the relevant qualification and registration/membership requirements.

A Blue Card is required for non-AHPRA registered professionals, and a Class C driver's licence is required for the role.
