Competitive salary and benefits:

We offer attractive generous remuneration packages value up to $144,648 and generous leave entitlements.

  • Salary range: $70.92 to $77.00 p.h. (NG7)
  • 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
  • Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available

About your opportunity:

The role of the Critical Care Outreach Nurse provides leadership and clinical support in the coordination of high-quality care to acutely unwell patients with underlying complex health conditions. The Critical Care Outreach Nurse will work across specialty boundaries in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to navigate the care of patients who have been identified as being at risk of or have clinically deteriorated. The proactive approach will ensure patients receive optimal care in the right place at the right time to facilitate a safe and effective patient journey across the care continuum.

Requirements:

  • Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration (AHPRA).
  • Adult Life Support Certificate: Must obtain and maintain an annual competency in Advanced Life Support as per THHSCLI040151 Life Support Training and Assessment
  • Appointees may be required to participate in an on-call roster.
  • This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
  • Probation period may apply.
  • Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
