Role details
The Support Services at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Senior Project Manager (Electronic Menu Ordering System) to join their team on a temporary basis.

Your opportunity
- To lead, manage and coordinate one or more medium to large scale operational and digital projects within the constraints of scope, budget, schedule and quality, while ensuring projects are completed within Queensland Health project management methodologies (Project Lifecycle).
- Implement and maintain adequate project governance, systems, processes and internal controls to ensure effective and efficient coordination and delivery of the Electronic Menu Ordering System (EMOS) project and associated operational improvement initiatives for Food Services.
- Provide project management, financial and operational support for the delivery of the EMOS project to enable effective implementation, stakeholder engagement and transition into business-as-usual operations.
About the Team
Support Services play an important role in delivering a diverse range of non-clinical services that support the Mackay Base Hospital, Staff Accommodation, Community Health Centres and Rural facilities through leading a standardised approach to similar services. These support functions are embodied into four areas, Operational Services, Food & Linen Services, Security Services and Travel Services.

The district covers an area of approximately 90,000km2 and provides services to patients and their families in Bowen, Cannonvale, Clermont, Collinsville, Dysart, Glenden, Mackay, Middlemount, Moranbah, Proserpine and Sarina.
