Your key responsibilities:

  • Provide high quality advice and support to the customers in relation to category management, contracting and end to end supply of all medical and non-medical goods and services.
  • Coordinate and provide support and guidance in relation to the preparation of documentation relating to System Procurement activities.
  • Proactively engage with stakeholders to promote the procurement governance function and ensure that clients are aware of leading practices, systems, tools, templates and training.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of leading practice procurement governance and contracting frameworks, services, systems, tools, templates training across Queensland Health.

Role fit

The essential requirements for this role are:

  • Knowledge of the fundamental principles, concepts, processes, and procedures related to end-to-end procurement, contracts management and strategic chain activities.
  • Ability to establish and maintain stakeholder relationships to support effective business change.
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills and an ability to coordinate multiple tasks within agreed timeframes.
  • Proven high level written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to provide advice, to influence and to negotiate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
