About the role

Permanent full time opportunity to provide high-quality education and care for the toddlers in the Myrtle classroom (aged two to three years), creating a safe, nurturing and engaging environment that supports their learning, wellbeing and development while fostering positive relationships with families.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Assume the responsibility for the planning, implementation and evaluation the daily program including the room routine and experiences/activities suitable to the needs and interests of the children attending the Centre.
  • Develop cooperative relationships with all staff members, to ensure a smoothly operating Centre and a consistently caring, secure and active environment for all children always.
  • Assist with the creation of a friendly, secure and stimulating yet comfortable environment for the children.
  • Have the flexibility and knowledge to work with all age groups within the Centre.
