Your new role:
As a Clinical Nurse, you'll provide advanced clinical leadership and expert perioperative care for patients with complex needs, working autonomously within a multidisciplinary healthcare team. You'll play a pivotal role in Instrument and Circulating specialist nursing, while contributing to education, research, quality improvement and service leadership.
- Provide expert Instrument and Circulating nursing care for Plastics, Reconstructive and Maxillo-Facial surgery.
- Lead clinical decision-making, assessment, care planning and coordination for complex patients.
- Provide clinical leadership, mentoring and support to the nursing and multidisciplinary team.
- Contribute to quality improvement, clinical audits, research, risk management and service innovation.
- Support team coordination, staffing, change management and workplace culture alongside the Nurse Unit Manager.
About you:
We're looking for an experienced and confident Registered Nurse who brings advanced perioperative knowledge, strong clinical judgement and a commitment to delivering safe, person-centred care. You'll be a collaborative clinical leader who can support others, drive best practice and contribute positively to the ongoing development of the service.
- Advanced clinical knowledge and experience in Operating Theatre Instrument and Circulating practice.
- Specialist knowledge and experience in Plastics, Reconstructive and Maxillo-Facial surgery.
- Strong clinical assessment, care planning, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Demonstrated leadership, delegation, communication and team collaboration capabilities.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice, professional development, quality improvement and research.
