Your new role:
As a Registered Nurse within the Peri-Anaesthesia Service, you will deliver safe, compassionate and person-centred care across the perioperative journey. Working closely with anaesthetic, surgical and critical care teams, you will apply your clinical judgement and developing expertise to support positive patient outcomes while contributing to education, quality improvement and evidence-based practice.
- Provide comprehensive nursing care across the peri-anaesthesia patient journey.
- Work collaboratively with anaesthetic, surgical and multidisciplinary teams.
- Apply clinical assessment, critical thinking and evidence-based practice.
- Contribute to education, quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
About you:
You are a confident and adaptable Registered Nurse who is committed to delivering high-quality care and developing your specialist peri-anaesthesia knowledge. You will bring strong communication skills, sound clinical judgement and a collaborative approach to working within a dynamic surgical environment.
- Registered Nurse with current NMBA registration and relevant tertiary qualification.
- Demonstrated knowledge, skills and experience in peri-anaesthesia nursing.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication and decision-making skills.
- Commitment to ongoing learning, teamwork and evidence-based practice.

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.
We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.
Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
