• This Expression of Interest (EOI) collects a variety of information that will help identify potentially suitable applicants for future temporary employment opportunites.  If deemed suitable your details will remain in the expression of intetrest pool for a period of (3) months, and you may be contracted further by Metro South Health (MSHH) at the time an opportunity arises matching your qualifications/experience.  MSH may request your particpation in other recuitment selection processes (eg: interview, reference checks and pre-employment checks) to further determine suitability for appointment to a specific position.

Your new role:

Join the Logan Hospital Medical Imaging team to deliver high-quality, patient-centred imaging across a diverse clinical environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering evidence-based Medical Imaging services and managing an allocated caseload.
• Working collaboratively with patients, carers and multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintaining high standards of radiation safety, documentation and patient care.
• Supporting students and less experienced staff through education and supervision.
• Contributing to quality improvement, service development and research activities.

About you:

We're looking for a patient-focused Radiographer who brings strong clinical skills, communication and a commitment to continuous learning, with:

• Demonstrated Medical Imaging clinical and technical capability.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Effective time management, prioritisation and organisational skills.

Logan Hospital:

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.

We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland. Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
