About your opportunity

Deliver medical imaging clinical service as a member of a multidisciplinary/ modality team to stakeholders/customers of Queensland Health. To work across a range of modality services within Imaging under direction from senior clinical leaders. We are seeking radiographers with known experience in Emergency, General Radiography, and advanced modalities.

This Expression of Interest collects a variety of information that will help the Townsville Hospital and Health Service identify potentially suitable applicants for future Radiographer employment opportunities. If deemed suitable your details will remain in the Clinical Talent Pool for a period of 12 months and you will be contacted further by the Medical Imaging Department at the time an opportunity arises. Further participation in other recruitment selection processes (for example written application and/or interview) to further assess suitability for appointment to a specific position may be required. Specialty skills will be assessed to determine eligibility for available positions.

Competitive salary and benefits:

We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.

  • Salary range: $80,016 to $116,189 p.a. (HP3)
  • 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
  • Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available

Requirements:

Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration

  • Mandatory: The applicant must:
    • Hold current registration with MRPBA (AHPRA), 
    • Hold a tertiary qualification specific to medical imaging,
    • Demonstrate evidence of professional development activities.
  • Desirable:  Australian Society of Medical Imaging & Radiation Therapy (A.S.M.I.R.T) Certification in either MR, CT, Angiographer (Cardiac and Vascular), Mammography, or Preliminary Image Evaluation (PIE).
  • This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
