About your role
As Safety and Response Coordinator, you will provide operational leadership across security services at Bayside Health Service, ensuring staff, patients, visitors and facilities are supported by safe, responsive and professional security operations.
You will:
- Lead, support and mentor Safety and Response Officers across the service.
- Coordinate security operations, rostering, payroll and daily workforce requirements.
- Respond to security incidents, emergencies, risks and requests for assistance.
- Monitor CCTV, body cameras, access control and other security systems.
- Review incidents and shift activities while identifying and addressing emerging risks.
About you
We're looking for an experienced and confident leader who can coordinate a diverse security team while building strong relationships across a busy healthcare environment.
You will bring:
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and develop an effective security team.
- Strong knowledge of security rostering, workforce coordination and operations.
- Experience training, mentoring and supporting new and established staff.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
- Understanding of contemporary HR, workplace health and safety and best-practice principles.

Redland Hospital is the major health centre for adults and children in the Redlands and Brisbane's southern bayside suburbs.
