About us:

The Nurse Led Walk-in Clinic will provide free, accessible care for adults and children over two with non-life-threatening injuries and illnesses. Open 7 days a week from 8am to 10pm, the clinic will offer assessment, treatment and advice, alongside trauma-informed and women-focused services. By improving access to timely care in the community, the service aims to support better long-term health outcomes while helping reduce pressure on local hospitals.

About the role:

  • Deliver efficient, client-focused administrative support to the Practice Manager, clinical staff and wider multidisciplinary team.
  • Manage client registrations, appointments, referrals and reception activities, ensuring a smooth experience for the community accessing the Nurse Led Clinic.
  • Become a multi-skilled administrative team member, supporting a broad range of operational and business requirements across the seven-day service.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality, accuracy and data integrity across client records, billing, scheduling systems and Queensland Health applications.
  • Use strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills to manage competing priorities, work collaboratively and independently, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

About you:

  • Experience in a healthcare setting is highly regarded, along with familiarity with hospital-based clinical information systems or similar technology.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, manage conflict and treat patients, colleagues and stakeholders with respect.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse multidisciplinary team while confidently managing tasks and achieving daily objectives independently.
  • A resilient, adaptable and compassionate approach, with a strong understanding of how behaviour and communication impact others.

What we offer:

Total remuneration value of up to $72,520 p.a. is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $40.17 - $44.67 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
