About the role
Temporary part time opportunity to provide care to GHQ patients, within the Scope of Clinical Practice of a General Practitioner, as part of multi-disciplinary care team supported by Medical Specialists.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Ensure the provision of efficient and effective outpatient and ambulatory services for patients with, suspected of having or with a family history of a familial cancer condition of the state of Queensland, including outreach clinics and telehealth, and liaise with other services as appropriate.
- Deliver appropriate high-quality management of patients and refer to other colleagues/services where clinically and professionally appropriate.
- Ensure management of patients is efficient and clinically appropriate.
- Support the development, implementation, monitoring and review quality improvement programs.
- Support the establishment, development and improvement of patient care guidelines for common diagnostic groups.
