About your opportunity
Deliver clinical Social Work services as a member of the community based multidisciplinary allied health team, for adults/older persons within the Townsville University Hospital catchment. The role works collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team, as well as across facilities and services to ensure the provision of a quality service, with a focus on complex health conditions, post-acute and rehabilitation focused interventions, and hospital avoidance and restorative programs.

Competitive salary and benefits:
We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.
- Salary range: $50.44 to $73.24 p.h. (HP3)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
Requirements:
Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration
- The successful applicant must hold a tertiary degree (or equivalent) qualification in Social Work and eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
- Aged Care Pre-Employment Screening: Applicants are advised this position works in an identified Aged Care Facility as per the Aged Care Act 1997 and therefore requires employees and volunteers to have a current National Police Certificate.
- Highly regarded: Demonstrated clinical knowledge and skill in providing clinical social work services with community-based clients who present with chronic and aging health conditions and/or rehabilitation focused needs.
- Drivers Licence: This position requires the incumbent to operate a class C motor vehicle and an appropriate licence endorsement to operate this vehicle is required.
