About the role:

  • Provide high-level financial expertise to CQ Health leadership, executives, clinicians and key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Drive financial performance and improvement through budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, cost management and performance reporting.
  • Turn financial and clinical data into insights, using Activity Based Funding, costing, benchmarking and activity analysis to support better decision-making.
  • Influence strategic decisions around resource allocation, service agreements, contracts, revenue, efficiency and long-term financial planning.
  • Strengthen governance and compliance by providing advice on financial standards, risk management, resource utilisation and organisational performance.

About you:

  • Sound knowledge of accounting, budgeting, forecasting and financial management, with the ability to solve complex financial challenges; relevant qualifications are well regarded.
  • Confident managing competing priorities, a high workload and tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality.
  • Influential communicator – Strong interpersonal, consultation, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to influence outcomes and build effective partnerships.
  • Experienced in using financial databases, reporting tools and financial systems to analyse information and provide meaningful insights to Executive.

What we offer:

Total remuneration value of up to $176,711 p.a. is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $72.78 - $78.11 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
