Mental Health Clinician - Adult Intake (SW, Psych, OT)

We’re looking for a Social Worker, Psychologist or Occupational Therapist to join our Adult Intake Team on a Permanent Full Time basis!

You’ll be part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team providing assessment, triage, care planning and therapeutic support to adults experiencing complex mental health challenges. We're a community-focused mental health and alcohol and other drugs service supporting more than 250,000 people across Rockhampton, Capricorn Coast, Gladstone, Central Highlands and Banana.

Our teams are based across the region, delivering everything from assessment and therapeutic support to case management, treatment and referrals.

In Gladstone, our integrated service brings together Adult Mental Health, Child and Youth Mental Health, Step-Up Step-Down and Alcohol and Other Drugs services under one roof.

About the role:

  • Be part of the team. Work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams, provide outreach to surrounding services and contribute to extended-hours care when needed.

About you:

  • You have the required qualifications and professional registration to bring your expertise to the team.
  • Confident supporting people with complex mental illness, including risk assessment and triage, with a solid understanding of the Queensland Mental Health Act 2016 and national standards.
  • Bring strong therapeutic communication skills, build genuine connections and thrive working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Can juggle priorities, deliver quality adult mental health care and are keen to support, educate and share your knowledge with others.

Mental Health Clinicians

Hold qualifications and registration with the appropriate registration authority to practice in any of the following:

  • Occupational Therapy
  • Psychology
  • Social Work

What we offer:

Total remuneration value of up to $132,567 p.a. is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $43.97 - $58.59 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
