About the role

As the Senior Administration Officer for the Adolescent and Young Adult Pelvic Pain and Endometriosis Service (AYA PPES), you will provide high-level operational and administrative leadership to support the delivery of a new multidisciplinary service within Women's and Newborn Services. You will coordinate administrative processes, referral pathways, patient flow, multidisciplinary activities, and performance reporting to ensure the delivery of efficient, patient-centred care.

Working closely with clinical and operational stakeholders, you will play a key role in the establishment, ongoing development, and continuous improvement of this innovative service. Supporting care delivery across multiple Metro North Health locations, you will help ensure seamless service coordination, effective governance, and positive experiences for adolescents and young adults accessing care.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Coordinate and lead the administrative functions of the AYA Pelvic Pain and Endometriosis Service to support high-quality multidisciplinary care.
  • Manage referral pathways, appointment scheduling, patient flow, and service coordination to ensure timely access to care.
  • Support multidisciplinary case conferences, team activities, and integrated care planning through effective administrative management.
  • Monitor service performance, maintain activity reporting, and contribute to service evaluation, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support coordinated care pathways and efficient service delivery.
