Provide specialist advisory and consultancy services to Human Resource Business Partners and delegates across the Health Service in relation to complex industrial and workplace relations matters including discipline, investigations, grievances, appeals, public interest disclosures, performance management and official misconduct.

The key responsibilities of the role include
- Provide advice to support the effective management of complex workplace relations casework in the areas of industrial relations and disputes, awards and enterprise bargaining implementation, advocacy in QIRC and other tribunals, regulatory and legal compliance, corrupt conduct, employee complaints and grievances, public interest disclosures, disciplinary processes, investigations, employment related litigations, appeals and ill health retirements
- Provide advice and support to Human Resource Business Partners in relation to workplace relations matters and to resolve complex workplace relations issues.
- Provide advice on more complex EB and Award interpretations to support the appropriate application of industrial entitlements and provisions
- Under the guidance of the Principal Workplace Relations Advisor, implement innovative and effective solutions to address critical workplace relations issues.
What we're looking for
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Extensive experience in HR, workplace relations, employment law and/or industrial relations.
- Thorough knowledge of interpretation and implementation of legislation, Enterprise Agreements and Awards
- Thorough knowledge of contemporary human resources strategies, systems, frameworks and processes.
- Ability to provide accurate and dependable workplace relations advice and consultancy services to HR Business Partners and Executive members across the range of workplace relations functions.
- Excellent interpersonal, influencing, negotiation and communication skills.
- Experience in solving very complex problems, analysing issues from various perspectives and exercising sound, independent judgement.
