Your new role:

As a New Graduate Occupational Therapist, you'll begin your career as part of the Occupational Therapy team across Princess Alexandra, QEII Jubilee and Logan Hospitals. This is an opportunity to develop your clinical skills, build confidence and gain broad experience through the HP3 rotational program, supported by experienced senior clinicians and a comprehensive graduate learning program.

  • Manage an allocated caseload while developing your clinical reasoning, prioritisation and time management skills.
  • Work collaboratively with patients, families, carers, students and other health professionals.
  • Participate in clinical education, professional development and the Metro South new graduate support initiatives.
  • Participate in a 7-day-per-week service roster, including out-of-hours and weekend services as required.

You're an enthusiastic new graduate ready to develop your occupational therapy career in a supportive and collaborative environment. You'll bring a commitment to patient-centred care, a willingness to learn and the ability to work effectively as part of an interprofessional team.

  • The ability to provide high-quality, efficient, patient-centred and evidence-based occupational therapy.

  • The ability, or capacity to rapidly develop the skills, to support clinical education and student learning.

About us:

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.

Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH) is a tertiary health care centre providing care in most major adult specialties. We provide world class health care to Brisbane City's southern suburbs across emergencies, medical, mental health and surgical services, including liver and kidney transplant.

Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital (QEII) is a medium metropolitan adult facility providing a range of inpatient and outpatient services including a 24-hour Emergency Department. We provide a range of services, including surgery, cardiology, endoscopy, orthopaedics, gynaecology, urology, geriatric, respiratory and emergency medicine.
