  • Base salary range: $111,993 to $121,853 p.a. (AO5)
  • 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
  • Plus a range of salary packaging options to increase take-home pay

About your opportunity

This role provides specialist support to ensure the effective delivery, reporting and continuous improvement of Commonwealth‑funded Aged Care programs within the Townsville Hospital and Health Service.

The role leads the coordination of program reporting, information systems, data quality, and compliance activities, while supporting Older Persons Community Services (OPCS) Line Managers through high‑level analysis, interpretation of legislation and policy, and the development of program documentation.

With strong capability in systems, analytics and operational coordination, the position contributes to service performance, governance and quality outcomes. The role works both autonomously and collaboratively and will provide guidance and direction to administrative staff as the service grows, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability and client‑centred service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Advanced knowledge of Aged Care Programs is highly desirable (Commonwealth Home Support Program, Single Assessment System, Transition Care Program, Support at Home).
  • Project management / Quality Improvement knoweldge and experience is highly desirable.
  • Possession of a C-class motor vehicle licence may be required.
  • Aged Care Pre-Employment Screening: Applicants are advised this position works in an identified Aged Care Facility as per the Aged Care Act 1997 and therefore requires employees and volunteers to have a current National Police Certificate. Queensland Health will facilitate applicants obtaining the above National Police Certificate.
