Become a part of an exciting opportunity as Administration Officer (Reliever) with Emergency Administration Cairns. You will play a key role in delivering responsive administrative support and customer service within a fast-paced Emergency Department. Supporting clinical staff, you will maintain accurate patient records, monitor admissions, transfers and discharges, identify revenue opportunities, and provide professional, courteous care to patients and families while helping the department meet service demands.Job details

About your role:
- Maintain a high standard of customer service by responding to general reception enquiries for the department by answering all incoming telephone calls and ensuring accurate transfer of messages and information to support patients and staff.
- Support Activity Based Funding initiatives and contribute to patient flow initiatives by maintaining the accuracy of all current patient information systems
- Perform a support role to medical and nursing staff within the department by assisting with the preparation and completion of a range of administrative duties.
