About your opportunity
Permanent part-time, 56 hours per fortnight
Join our team and make a difference in patient care. In this role, you will work under the guidance of a Registered Nurse or Midwife to support the delivery of safe, high-quality care to patients. You will assist with delegated clinical and non-clinical duties, contribute to positive patient experiences, and seek support and direction when required to ensure the best possible outcomes.
As part of the Charters Towers Health Service, you will be joining a collaborative team committed to providing compassionate, patient-centred care to the local community.

Competitive salary and benefits:
We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.
- Salary range: $38.11 to $40.45 p.h. (Nurse Grade 3)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
Requirements:
- Diploma of Nursing or equivalent certification relevant to the position is mandatory.
- Highly Desirable: Successful completion of modules related to medication administration and peripheral intravenous (IV) therapy.
- Shift Workers: Appointees will be required to work all shifts in accordance with the unit roster, which will include participation in an on-call roster.
- On-call: Appointees may be required to participate in an on-call roster.
- Driver Licence: This position requires the applicant to possess an appropriate license to operate a Class C (car) motor vehicle.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
