Your Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity available for an Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP)/Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) Operations Officer to join our team at TAFE Queensland’s Rockhampton Campus. You may be required to perform work at other TAFE Queensland campuses.
The purpose of this role is to make a positive difference in the lives of AMEP and SEE learners by providing a welcoming first point of contact, personalised guidance and ongoing support throughout their learning journey.
This position is available on a temporary part-time (0.5 FTE) basis until 30 June 2027 unless otherwise determined, and reports to the Team Leader, AMEP/SEE Student Services.
Salary
The salary range for this position at the PO3 classification level is $53,497 - $58,276 (gross) per annum.

Mandatory Requirements
Applicants must possess the following:
- Three year Australian undergraduate degree or overseas equivalent;
- TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or equivalent;
- current Queensland Driver’s Licence;
- current Blue Card or Exemption Card (or ability to obtain prior to commencement), to comply with the Working with Children Check Act 2000.
Highly Desirable
Candidates who possess the following will be highly regarded:
- Experience working with migrants and refugees;
- Proficiency in a relevant community language;
- Post graduate TESOL qualification
