Your new role:

Support the delivery of Health, Safety and Wellbeing services across Princess Alexandra Hospital. Working alongside experienced safety professionals, you'll contribute to incident follow-up, risk assessments, reporting, training, emergency management and safety initiatives while building strong relationships with staff and stakeholders.

About you:

You're a proactive and organised safety professional who enjoys working collaboratively, solving problems and helping create safer, healthier workplaces.

  • Strong understanding of WHS/HSW principles, legislation and risk management
  • Confident engaging with stakeholders and building positive working relationships
  • Experience supporting incident management, investigations and hazard assessments
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to assist with training, presentations and reporting
  • Highly organised, with a commitment to continuous improvement and quality safety outcomes

About the MSH Employee Health Safety and Wellbeing Team

The team supports Metro South Health in identifying health and safety risks and improving the physical and psychological health, safety and wellbeing of workers and others in line with the Work Health and Safety Act 2011, Work Health and Safety Regulation 2011, relevant Codes of Practice and relevant provisions in safety legislation and other legislation and MSH procedures and guidelines.
