This role requires an experienced IM/ICT professional with strong technical architecture expertise, the ability to manage complex system designs, and a proven track record delivering large-scale technology solutions within highly complex environments. You will work closely with stakeholders, provide expert technical guidance, lead specialist technical teams, and ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards and best-practice delivery frameworks.
This is your opportunity to provide expert technical advice whilst ensuring alignment with contemporary Information Management (IM) Information Communication Technology (ICT) frameworks.

The role:  

Manage and undertake the design, planning and implementation of solutions for ieMR Cloud Projects, ensuring alignment with best practice IM/ICT design and delivery frameworks.

You will specify and design complex systems and recommend the strategy of how to migrate eHealth to the proposed solutions, document the design standards, methods and tools, consistent with agreed enterprise and solution architectures and ensure effective application.

Manage and mentor a small team of ICT specialists and ICT delivery partners to deliver solutions within Queensland.

Maintain an in-depth knowledge of technical specialism and provide expert advice regarding their application. Lead the assessment, analysis, development, documentation, and implementation planning of complex IM/ICT changes, including the evaluation of risks to the integrity of infrastructure inherent in proposed implementations.

Is this opportunity for you?

To be successful in this role you will have experience in the design, publication, implementation, compliance, and delivery of technical solutions to industry best practice frameworks for large scale, complex IM/ICT program/project(s), preferably in the health care industry (SFIA Skill: ITMG: Level 5, HSIN: Level 4).

In addition to this, you will have experience in designing ICT solutions across multiple sites and scales providing expert knowledge in relevant design standards, techniques and methods and tools for large scale complex organisations (SFIA Skill: DESN: Level 4, METL: 5).

You will also have well-developed interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills including the ability to negotiate, advise, influence others and work collaboratively with people to make decisions (NHS: Effective and strategic influencing, Collaborative working) along with demonstrated ability to lead, manage and mentor a multi-disciplinary project team (NHS: Leading change through people).
