About your role
As a Clinical Nurse in Macleay Ward, you will provide advanced clinical leadership and expert nursing care to patients with complex medical needs.
- Provide advanced clinical assessment, care planning and coordination for complex medical patients.
- Provide clinical leadership, direction and support to the nursing and multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Coordinate shifts, delegate appropriately and support effective utilisation of staff and resources.
- Lead and contribute to education, quality improvement, clinical audits and evidence-based practice.
About you
We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse who brings advanced clinical knowledge, sound judgement and a commitment to person-centred care.
- Advanced clinical knowledge and experience in general or acute medical nursing.
- Strong assessment, care planning and problem-solving skills for complex patients.
- Demonstrated clinical leadership, delegation and shift coordination capabilities.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build collaborative team relationships.
- Commitment to education, quality improvement, research and evidence-based practice.
