We’re looking for a Senior Media Officer to join our Communications and Engagement team, supporting communications across Bundaberg, Hervey Bay and Maryborough Hospitals. In this role, you’ll help develop and deliver strategic communications, build strong relationships with media, identify and promote positive health service stories, and provide high-quality communications advice to stakeholders. Your opportunity:
- The Senior Media Officer position sits within the Communications and Engagement Team and leads the media, PR and issues management for Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service (WBHHS).
- The Senior Media Officer provides advice and support to the Director Communications and Engagement, WBHHS Executive and WBHH Board on strategic communications activities.
- The position is responsible for maintaining and implementing a multimedia content strategy to effectively support the delivery of the WBHHS Strategic Plan.

Our offer:
You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $157,351 p.a., comprising salary between $128,748 - $137,911 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO6) (Permanent Full Time, 76 hours p.f.)
