About your role
As a Registered Nurse on Macleay Ward, you will provide safe, compassionate and evidence-based nursing care to patients across a range of medical specialties.
- Deliver comprehensive person-centred nursing care through assessment, planning and evaluation.
- Care for patients with acute and chronic medical conditions, including older patients with dementia and delirium.
- Work collaboratively with nursing, medical and allied health professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Apply clinical judgement, critical thinking and evidence-based practice to support safe patient outcomes.
- Contribute to quality improvement, education, clinical development and a positive team culture.
About you
We are looking for a Registered Nurse who is passionate about delivering high-quality medical nursing care and making a positive difference to patients and their families.
- Registered Nurse with demonstrated experience in medical nursing practice.
- Strong clinical assessment, care planning and decision-making skills.
- Ability to prioritise care and adapt effectively to changing clinical needs.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills across multidisciplinary environments.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice, quality improvement and lifelong learning.

Redland Hospital:
Redland Hospital is the major health centre for adults and children in the Redlands and Brisbane's southern bayside suburbs. We provide a range of services including emergency care, primary health and minor injury care, acute and subacute medicine, general surgery, maternity and paediatric, mental specialist outpatient and mental health care.
