About the Team

The Strategy and Transformation Division is a dynamic support function that leads and enables critical strategic and transformation initiatives across the HHS and broader statewide paediatric network. About the Role

In this role you will deliver quality outcomes for children, young people and families (Leader of Self) in accordance with the Children's Health Queensland Leadership Excellence Framework and the Queensland Public Service and the CHQ values. Your contribution will include:

This position incorporates all the role requirements of lower level clinical positions at HP3, including clinical practice supervision, clinical education of students and ongoing professional development.

Clinical Practice

  • Coordinate the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of agreed clinical initiatives as determined by the Manager Transformation and Innovation.
  • Identify and engage key stakeholders across multidisciplinary teams and project areas required for the planning, implementation and delivery of clinically informed innovation initiatives.

Improvement and Innovation

  • Apply clinical evidence, knowledge and skills to support continuous improvement of local clinical service delivery across project areas, environments and disciplines.
  • With support of the Manger, Transformation and Innovation, understand and apply contemporary improvement and innovation methodologies, maintain knowledge in this field through continuous learning and professional development.

Data Analysis and Evaluation

  • Demonstrate high-level analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrate ability to use clinical information and other technology systems relevant to work area to enhance practice and decision support.

Team Collaboration, Engagement and Culture

  • Participate as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to the design and delivery of projects aligned with CHQ's strategic priorities.
  • Encourage health professionals and their teams to actively engage and participate in clinical improvement and innovation initiatives.

Leadership / Work Unit Management

  • Demonstrate high level time management and workload management skills in prioritising workload demands and meeting agreed deadlines.
  • Foster a commitment to patient safety and quality in the delivery of health care by maintaining and evaluating safety and quality practices and initiatives.
