Your new role:

You will play a pivotal role in delivering high‑quality, evidence‑based occupational therapy and clinical case management within a highly skilled interprofessional team.

Core responsibilities include:

• Delivering complex occupational therapy and clinical case management services, including assessment, intervention and evaluation for adults with acquired brain injury.
• Acting as a clinical reference point and adapting practice with a high degree of independence.
• Leading and contributing to service development, quality improvement and research initiatives that enhance ABI TRS service delivery.
• Providing supervision, guidance and training to HP3 clinicians, students and Allied Health Assistants.

About you:

You are a confident, collaborative clinician who thrives in a dynamic rehabilitation environment and is passionate about supporting people with ABI during a critical phase of recovery.

We're looking for someone who:

• Demonstrates high level clinical expertise in occupational therapy and clinical case management for complex ABI presentations.
• Communicates effectively and works seamlessly within interdisciplinary teams, including managing conflict and providing high level clinical advice.
• Excels in prioritising and managing complex caseloads, including discharge planning and coordination across home and community settings.
• Shows strong leadership capability, including supervising junior staff and contributing to clinical practice development.

Princess Alexandra Hospital:

The Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH) is a tertiary health care centre providing care in most major adult specialties. We provide world class health care to Brisbane City's southern suburbs across emergency, medical, mental health and surgical services, including liver and kidney transplant.

We are nationally recognised for our expertise in trauma management and organ transplants and are one of Australia's leading academic and research health centres. The PAH as a major medical research precinct hosts Australia's most advanced medical research facility, the Translational Research Institute (TRI) as well as a new Clinical Research Facility for the discoveries made at TRI to be trialed in a safe clinical environment.

We're expanding our hospital to make sure everyone gets the care they need. We're adding more beds, modernising our buildings, and improving our spaces to treat kidney and cancer patients with all new services and facilities planned to open by 2027.
