Your new role:

The purpose of the role is to provide high quality psychiatric services to consumers admitted to Logan Hospital medical and surgical wards who require specialist psychiatric assessment, diagnostic clarification and management. The position leads a multidisciplinary team and provides supervision, feedback, teaching and support to registrars and medical students. As a clinical lead of the Consultation Liaison Psychiatry Service, you will lead high-level liaison with hospital medical, surgical and allied health teams.

About you:

         Provide specialist services across Metro South Health facilities

         Deliver inpatient and outpatient care, including on-call participation

         Perform elective and/or emergency procedures

         Supervise and teach junior medical staff and students

         Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, research, and quality improvement
