The Ipswich Psychology Service at RSIS delivers clinical, health, and neuropsychology services to adult inpatients. This position provides clinical leadership within the hospital.
Temporary Part-time opportunity (30.4 hours per fortnight).

About you
The ideal person for this role will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- High level clinical expertise and skill within a health setting, including psychological assessment, formulation, and treatment skills.
- Knowledge of the provision of psychology services in a community health and/or hospital-based service.
- High level verbal and written skills in application to effective communication with patients, psychologists, and multi-disciplinary team members in a hospital and/or community health setting.
- Commitment to continuous service improvement through leading quality improvement and research activities.
- Actively contributes to a learning environment through clinical supervision, mentoring, and skill sharing.
- Honesty, integrity, and respect for all patients, carers, and staff.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
- Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership with the appropriate registration authority or association within Australia - AHPRA.
