Your new role:

As the Advanced Clinical Leader, you will combine advanced clinical expertise with professional and operational leadership to deliver exceptional diagnostic audiology services across Logan Hospital and Metro South Health, including:

• Providing advanced diagnostic and consultancy services to complex paediatric and adult consumers.
• Leading and mentoring diagnostic audiologists, allied health assistants and other health professionals.
• Providing clinical supervision, professional guidance and support for complex clinical decision-making.
• Leading the development and implementation of evidence-based clinical practices, procedures and protocols.
• Supporting workforce planning, workload allocation, rostering, resource management and staff development.
• Driving quality improvement, research, knowledge translation and innovative models of care.
• Using data, outcomes and service trends to inform service planning and continuous improvement.
• Building strong relationships across multidisciplinary teams, ENT services, the Statewide Healthy Hearing Program and professional networks.

About you:

We are looking for an experienced audiologist who can bring advanced clinical expertise, strong leadership capability and a commitment to patient-centred care, with:

• Advanced clinical skills in diagnostic audiology and the ability to independently manage complex cases.
• Experience with advanced electrophysiological testing, including vestibular or neonatal ABR testing.
• Strong communication, collaboration, supervision and mentoring skills.
• Experience leading service improvement, clinical practice development, research or evidence-based initiatives.
• The ability to manage competing priorities, support workforce planning and contribute to operational decision-making.
• A commitment to safe, compassionate, inclusive and high-quality patient care.

Logan Hospital:

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.

We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.

Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
