Temorary Full Time Opportunity to Join the Logan and Beaudesert Physiotherapy team as a Senior Physiotherapist, delivering advanced evidence-based care across Critical Care and Respiratory services. Lead clinical practice, support developing clinicians and students, and contribute to service improvement, education and research.

Your new role:

As a Senior Physiotherapist, you will deliver high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy services within the Critical Care and Respiratory Physiotherapy teams at Logan Hospital, with services across the Logan and Beaudesert Health Service. You will manage complex clinical presentations, provide expert clinical advice and contribute to education, supervision, quality improvement and research.

• Provide advanced physiotherapy assessment and intervention across critical care, respiratory, cardiology, infectious diseases and internal medicine.
• Manage complex workloads, prioritise patient care and support effective discharge planning in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Provide clinical education, supervision and mentoring to junior clinicians, students and Allied Health Assistants.
• Lead and contribute to evidence-based service improvement, research, clinical education and practice development.

About you:

You are an experienced physiotherapist with strong Critical Care and respiratory expertise who can confidently manage complex patients while contributing to a collaborative multidisciplinary environment. You bring sound clinical judgement, strong communication skills and a commitment to developing others and improving services.

• Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge and experience in Critical Care Physiotherapy.
• Strong assessment, prioritisation, clinical reasoning and discharge planning skills.
• Experience supervising, mentoring and educating junior clinicians and physiotherapy students.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and evaluate quality improvement and service development initiatives.

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.

We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.

Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
