EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
Purpose of the Role
We're excited to welcome a Clinical Nurse Consultant leave relief position to our Nambour Emergency Department. The NGH ED Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) is required to work at an advanced practice level utilising a high degree of knowledge, clinical skills and experience to promote optimal outcomes for patients presenting to the Emergency Department. The CNC works collaboratively with the other members of the senior nursing team to drive innovation, manage resources, and meet department and hospital key performance indicators. The CNC represents the department in forums and external committees as required at a health service and state-wide level. Together with the multidisciplinary team the CNC helps to ensure the optimal care and safety of all ED patients and staff. Advanced ED skills and experience is mandatory.
