This position also provides advice and the social and cultural aspects relevant to the Mental Health assessment and inputs to the development of treatment planning for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander consumers.
About your opportunity:
In this position you will…
- Input and participate as a member of the team with assessments, therapeutic interventions, treatment and participate in case management, case reviews and planning providing cultural perspectives and advice.
- Liaise and network with the relevant agencies to enhance service delivery and encourage coordinated and effective services using effective communication and consultation skills.
- Be involved in the formulation, implementation and evaluation of the Service's strategies, plans, policies, and participate in continuous quality improvement activities working actively using the principles of effective team functioning.
- Linking with traditional healing practices.
