About us:

Blackwater Multipurpose Health Service is a busy 16-bed rural facility providing acute inpatient, emergency, residential aged care, outpatient, pharmacy and urgent radiology services. You'll work with a close-knit team caring for people across the Blackwater community, with visiting allied health and a range of community health services also available.

About the role:

As a Registered Nurse, no two shifts will necessarily look the same. You'll provide safe, person-centred care across Emergency, Acute and Residential Aged Care, giving you the opportunity to build a broad range of clinical skills and experience.

You will:

• assess, plan, deliver and evaluate nursing care
• respond to a diverse range of clinical presentations
• work closely with patients, families and the multidisciplinary team
• contribute to quality improvement and patient safety
• support and guide colleagues while continuing to develop your own clinical practice.

Permanent and temporary, full-time and part-time opportunities are available, with hours negotiable. Additional benefits may include relocation assistance, short-term accommodation and visa sponsorship depending on eligibility.

About you:

You're a Registered Nurse who enjoys variety, works well as part of a team and can adapt confidently to the changing needs of a rural health service.

The following would also be advantageous:

• Advanced Life Saving, Triage and Resuss competencies
• Post graduate experience in Emergency or Perioperative Services
• Rural and remote emergency care experience

Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse is mandatory.

What we offer:

Total remuneration value of up to $127,861 is comprised of:

• An hourly rate between $44.06 - $56.51 p.h.
• 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
