Temporary full-time and part-time opportunities are available at Logan Hospital and Metro South Health for an Advanced Physiotherapist to deliver specialised Emergency and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy across Logan Hospital and Minor Injury and Illness Clinics.

Your new role:

As an Advanced Physiotherapist, you'll provide specialised, patient-centred physiotherapy across Emergency and Minor Injury and Illness services, with opportunities to lead clinical practice and support innovation through:

• Delivering advanced primary and secondary contact musculoskeletal and Emergency Physiotherapy services.
• Providing expert assessment and treatment planning for complex patients.
• Providing clinical leadership, mentoring and supervision to physiotherapists, students and allied health staff.
• Contributing to the development of clinical practices, protocols, education and innovative models of care.
• Supporting quality improvement, research and evidence-based practice across Musculoskeletal and Emergency Physiotherapy.
• Working across a seven-day roster and, where required, providing outpatient follow-up and service support across Metro South Health.

About you:

We're looking for an experienced physiotherapist who can bring advanced clinical expertise and a passion for leadership and service improvement, with:

• Registration as a Physiotherapist with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia (AHPRA).
• Advanced clinical skills and experience in musculoskeletal and/or Emergency Physiotherapy.
• Strong communication, collaboration, mentoring and clinical leadership skills.
• The ability to independently manage complex patients and provide high-level clinical advice.
• Experience contributing to clinical education, service improvement, research or evidence-based practice.
• A commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care and working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Logan Hospital:

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.

We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.
