We're excited to welcome a Allied Health Clincian Senior (Psychologist/Occupational Therapist/Social Worker) to the Adolescent Day Program, Mental Health and Specialised Services (MHSS).

The Day Program service is a part of an overall treatment strategy integrated with CYMHS inpatient and community based mental health treatment services to enhance continuity in service provision. Day Programs provide specialist multidisciplinary assessment and integrated treatment and rehabilitation to adolescents aged between 13 and 18 years of age with severe, complex and persistent mental health problems, often associated with complex developmental comorbidities and significant functional impairment across multiple domains to maximise recovery, within a therapeutic milieu.

Key Responsibilites include:

• Deliver independent high level Psychology/Occupational Therapy/Social work clinical practice with infrequent need for direct clinical practice supervision. Exercise professional judgement to a complex caseload, adapting routine clinical practice based on valid and reliable evidence.
• Provide high level clinical advice, education and influence towards a common patient-centred vision and direction to professional operational teams and relevant stakeholders regarding service delivery.
• Provide leadership oversight and clinical practice supervision to less experienced health practitioners and students as delegated.
• Communicate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team to influence the culture towards a common, patient-centred vision and direction.

Remuneration based pro rata on equivalent full time value up to $157 359 p.a., comprising salary rates: $64.64 - $69.55 p.h. employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) Hp4) (Fixed term temporary part time position, 60.8 hrs p.f. for 9 months).
