About us:
Biloela Hospital is a 20-bed hospital providing care to both inpatients and outpatients, with services spanning emergency care, general medicine and surgery.
The hospital also offers acute resuscitation and treatment facilities, supported by Medical Officers credentialed in obstetrics and anaesthetics.
There's a strong mix of services on site and in the community, including radiology, pharmacy, pathology, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, social work, oral health, child health, immunisation, mental health, and drug and alcohol services.

About the role:
As a Clinical Nurse, you'll bring your rural generalist skills to the heart of patient care, taking the lead in managing a specific patient population and confidently navigating more complex clinical situations.
The role is also about supporting your nursing team, providing guidance and direction to Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and other nursing staff while helping create a positive, capable and connected team.

About you:
- You're clinically confident. You're a Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration and a practising certificate, with strong experience across general and emergency nursing. Postgraduate qualifications are a bonus.
- You're a quality champion. You know your standards, understand risk and safety, and enjoy spotting opportunities to improve how care is delivered. You'll also take the lead on one of the National Standards portfolios.
- You're ready to lead. You can provide clinical leadership in a multidisciplinary environment, support evidence-based practice and help build the skills and confidence of your nursing colleagues through education and mentoring.
- You know how to connect with people. Strong communication, sound judgement and a professional, sensitive approach help you build positive relationships with patients, colleagues and the wider community.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $139,931 p.a. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $57.76 - $61.85 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
