Your new role:
As a Senior Dietitian, you will deliver high-quality, evidence-based Nutrition and Dietetics services across acute and ambulatory gastroenterology settings. This is an opportunity to work with a highly functioning interprofessional team while contributing to extended scope practice, clinical education, service development and quality improvement.
- Provide senior Nutrition and Dietetics services to patients with gastrointestinal disorders across acute and ambulatory settings.
- Support Dietitian-led Coeliac Disease and Gastrostomy clinics and extended scope/first point of contact services.
- Apply advanced clinical judgement to complex clinical presentations, prioritising workload and supporting effective discharge planning.
- Provide clinical advice, education, supervision and support to less experienced clinicians, students and Allied Health Assistants.
About you:
You are an experienced Dietitian with strong clinical expertise in gastroenterology and the ability to confidently manage complex workloads in a fast-paced clinical environment. You will bring excellent communication, leadership and clinical reasoning skills, together with a commitment to evidence-based practice and service improvement.
- Experience managing complex patients and rapidly prioritising clinical workload and discharge planning.- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to provide high-level clinical advice.
- Experience providing supervision, education and support to clinicians and students.
- Demonstrated ability to initiate, implement and evaluate service improvement initiatives.
- Experience in extended scope or first point of contact practice, with previous credentialing highly desirable.
