About us:
Our Community Care Unit provides a safe and supportive place for people aged 18–64 to focus on recovery and build confidence for independent living.
Our friendly team helps residents develop everyday skills, manage their wellbeing, connect with the community, and explore work or study opportunities. We also support families and carers and can help connect residents with other services.
The site has 20 comfortable one-bedroom units, including two accessible units, along with shared spaces for activities, socialising and meeting with visitors.

About the role:
Ready to make a difference in mental health? We're looking for a Registered Nurse to join our friendly Mental Health team at the Community Care Units.
Whether you're experienced in mental health or just starting out, we'll support you to grow your skills and confidence. New to mental health? You'll have the opportunity to take part in a 12-month training program, with guidance from your manager and plenty of opportunities to learn along the way.
In this role, you'll provide high-quality, evidence-based care, coordinate shifts when required, and assess, plan and review individualised care. You'll work closely with a multidisciplinary team, contribute to staff development and help improve the way we deliver care.
You'll also keep your professional knowledge up to date, take part in ongoing development and continue building your nursing expertise.
About you:
- The essentials. You're a Registered Nurse with current NMBA registration through AHPRA and ready to put your skills into practice.
- A caring clinical approach. Solid nursing skills and an understanding of recovery-focused mental health care. You bring compassion, respect and a person-centred approach to everything you do.
- Team spirit. Confident communicator who enjoys working with a multidisciplinary team and building great connections with consumers, colleagues and other services.
- A love of learning. Organised, can prioritise your workload and are keen to keep growing. You embrace professional development, share your knowledge with others and use evidence-based practice to provide the best care possible.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $108,193 p.a. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $44.27 - $56.78 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
Casual
- A casual hourly rate between $55.34 - $70.99 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
