Role details
The Theatre Department at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for an Enrolled Nurse to join their team on a permanent basis.

Your opportunity
To provide direct and indirect evidence-based patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, using contemporary nursing theory and practice within the Operating Theatre and Central Sterilising Department.
About the Team
The Operating Theatres at Mackay Base Hospital is a 24-hour, seven day a week facility, comprising of seven state of the art operating theatres which cater for surgical specialities including: Orthopaedic, General Surgery, Urology, Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Ear Nose & Throat.

The district covers an area of approximately 90,000km2 and provides services to patients and their families in Bowen, Cannonvale, Clermont, Collinsville, Dysart, Glenden, Mackay, Middlemount, Moranbah, Proserpine and Sarina.
