Central Queensland Oral Health Services provides evidence-based dental care and oral health promotion to eligible clients, while keeping access fair and equitable for our community.
Our services reach far and wide, with adult clinics, school dental clinics and mobile dental vans supporting communities from Rockhampton and Gladstone to Emerald, Biloela, Moura, Woorabinda and beyond.

About the role:
- Keep smiles healthy! Deliver high-quality oral health or dental therapy to eligible clients, while helping people understand how to look after their teeth and gums.
- Take care on the road. Provide care to children and adolescents through school-based and mobile dental clinics, helping bring dental services closer to the communities that need them.
- Make a difference early. Support better oral health outcomes for children and young people by providing accessible, individualised care and promoting healthy habits.
- Mix it up! Depending on your qualifications, scope of practice and service needs, you may also provide care in adult dental clinics — giving you plenty of variety in your day.
About you:
- Hold the relevant Dental Therapy or Bachelor of Oral Health qualification and AHPRA registration, along with the required Radiation Use Licence. Final-year Bachelor of Oral Health Therapy students are also encouraged to apply.
- New graduates can apply for the Early Career Dental Practitioner Program, with mentoring, specialist rotations, peer networking, case discussions and career development opportunities.
- Bring strong clinical skills, communication and teamwork, with the ability to work independently, make sound decisions and build great relationships across the service.
- A commitment to professional development, continuous learning and quality improvement is key, along with the ability to support, mentor and inspire less experienced staff and students.
What we offer:
Total monthly remuneration value of up to $11,047 p.m. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $43.97 - $58.58 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
