About us:

Moura is a welcoming rural community in Central Queensland's Dawson Valley, approximately 180km from Rockhampton and 65km from Biloela.

Moura Multipurpose Health Service is a modern, purpose-built facility providing emergency, acute, aged care and outpatient services. With an expansion to eight residential aged care beds underway, it's an exciting time to join a growing rural health service.

About the role:

Looking for a rural medical role that offers variety, professional development and the opportunity to earn additional income through private practice?

You'll work alongside the Medical Superintendent to deliver general practice, inpatient, outpatient and emergency care, while participating in the 24-hour emergency coverage roster.

Here's what's on offer:

  • Total remuneration package up to $429,389 p.a., depending on classification

About you:

We're looking for a doctor who enjoys the variety of rural medicine and wants to continue developing their clinical skills.

You'll bring:

  • Medical qualifications eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia
  • Enrolment or acceptance into an eligible Specialist General Practice training program
  • Current ALS and APLS certification
  • Confidence across general practice and acute care, with an interest in rural and emergency medicine
  • A collaborative approach to working with patients, colleagues and the community
  • Doctors pursuing rural generalist or GP fellowship pathways are encouraged to consider this opportunity.

What we offer:

Total remuneration value of up to $429,389 p.a. is comprised of:

  • A salary rate between $193,191 – $205,244 p.a.
  • A salary rate between $223,136 – $259,187 p.a.
  • A salary rate between $266,839 – $282,912 p.a.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
